No postcards for the past couple of weeks as I was home for the holidays and saw Chris in person. But now I’m back in London, hence I’m sending the only London postcard currently in my postcard stash. It’s a section of the ‘Copperplate’ map, (c. 1560, the earliest surviving map of London) covering Flitte Strete to Chepe Syde, taking in Blak freres and Olde Change. There are lots more lovely old maps of London on the MAPCO website.
